WHAT BRINGS YOU HERE

You’ve always found ways to keep up.

Relying on pressure, building systems that worked for you, or powering through because of your strong work ethic. You’ve built a reputation for optimizing systems and finding solutions others couldn’t crack. But something has shifted. Perhaps you have lost the structures that used to support you in previous roles. Or you no longer feel driven; the things that brought you fulfillment have turned exhausting. Whatever changed, you are questioning why the strategies that used to work aren’t enough anymore.

You are not falling apart. You are navigating a genuinely harder set of demands, and you may be doing it without the right support.

THERAPY AS A NEXT STEP

Therapy may be the missing structure at this stage of your career.

If any of this resonates, I invite you to consider psychotherapy as an essential investment in your professional journey. Whether you have a diagnosis of ADHD, autism, or AuDHD, or are still exploring your neurodivergence, you can use this space learn to reduce the toll of performing, identify when it is safe and necessary to unmask and recharge, and acquire the language to advocate for yourself in the space you work.

IS THIS RIGHT FOR YOU?

You're in the right place if you are navigating...

ADHD in professional settings Autism or AuDHD Executive functioning challenges Task initiation and planning Loss of structure after a transition Sensory overload or social fatigue Masking and burnout Time management difficulties Internalized shame Sustaining motivation Stepping into leadership roles

MY APPROACH

An affirming approach to neurodivergence

Therapy with me is collaborative and goal-oriented. I join you in your thought process, and together we practice joint attention, noticing when we connect and when we disconnect, and learning how to replicate that connection with the people in your life. We explore your patterns of attention, energy, and sensory tolerance, and build strategies that work with them rather than against them.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a formal diagnosis to work with you?

No. Many of my clients come in self-identifying as neurodivergent, having recognized patterns in themselves without ever receiving a formal evaluation. A diagnosis can be useful for certain accommodations and for understanding your profile more precisely, but it is not a requirement to begin therapy. If you are curious about pursuing an evaluation, I can help you think through whether and how to pursue one — but we can absolutely start working together before that step.

Yes. Many high-achieving adults spent years developing workarounds for challenges they never had language for. Therapy can be a space to explore what these patterns mean for you, without needing to arrive with a label already in place. Whether you leave with more clarity about a diagnosis or simply with better tools for the way your mind works, the work is meaningful either way.

This is a fair and important question. Most therapy that does not work for neurodivergent clients fails for one of two reasons: the approach was too unstructured, or the therapist did not have genuine familiarity with how neurodivergent minds work. My approach is deliberately structured — we set clear goals, track progress, and adjust the plan when something is not working. I also bring specific training in CBT for neurodivergent presentations, not a general therapy model applied loosely. If previous therapy left you feeling like you were doing the work but not moving forward, that experience is worth naming in our first conversation.

Yes — all sessions at Potomac CBT Center are conducted via telehealth, through a HIPAA-compliant video platform. This means you can access care from the privacy and comfort of your own home, office, or any secure location, without the added time and stress of a commute.

I am licensed to practice in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C., and through PSYPACT, I can also work with clients across 43+ participating states nationwide. Whether you are a busy professional, a graduate student, or someone managing a demanding schedule, telehealth makes it possible to prioritize your mental health without it becoming another logistical burden.
